Initially all adults will spend a short period as a Civilian Instructor, this role enables adults to become involved in nearly all aspects of the Squadron, and will give the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the Corps and its training.
Civilian Instructors are particularly useful in an Instructional role, teaching subjects that they have an interest in or particular skills in. The Corps run courses to help equip new people for this role.
Many Civilian Instructors prefer to remain in this non-uniformed role, but some chose to apply to become either an Adult SNCO or a Commissioned Officer within the Corps.
