| | | Originally a wartime Squadron when it met in the grounds of the Kings School in Ely & used the Needhams School playground on Back Hill as its parade square. 1094 (Ely) Squadron like many other squadrons disbanded after the end of the second world war | | In the 1960's the ATC began to expand, as part of this the Squadron at Ely reformed, first meeting in the "Old Barn" in the grounds of the RAF Hospital. The first meeting in October 1965 saw a total of 76 cadets joining. | | After about a year meeting in the Old Barn the Squadron moved to a purpose built Headquarters close by in the grounds of the RAF Hospital. The numbers by now had steadied to about 45 cadets which the Squadron maintained for many years. | | When the closure of the Princess of Wales Royal Air Force Hospital was announced the Squadron saw the need to secure a suitable building for its future |
 | This was achieved in 1992 when it moved into the Cadet Centre in Heaton Drive, which it now shares with the local detachment of the Army Cadet Force | | The Cadet Centre is a conversion of the old NAAFI shop, which was originally constructed in about 1939 |
